Uses a Cultural Humility approach to foster increased awareness of and respectful behavior toward lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people in the workplace. This includes understanding the impact of transphobia, homophobia, and workplace discrimination, minority stress, SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity), the importance of using correct pronouns, how to recover after making a mistake (such as misgendering a colleague) and best practices for fostering an LGBTQ+-affirming environment.
